What makes a good reiki table?
Six points that decide whether a table works for seated reiki sessions – and for massage, if you offer both.
Reiki end panels
Solid panels at the ends replace corner legs and braces, so your legs fit under the table when you sit. Some tables also have reiki panels along the sides.
Height range
For seated reiki, check the lowest setting against the height of your stool. If you also massage, the upper end of the range matters too.
Width
71 cm (28") suits most practitioners; 76 cm (30") gives clients more room during longer sessions. Our size table compares common widths.
Padding and comfort
Clients lie still for a long time – choose comfortable padding and add a face cradle cushion and a bolster under the knees.
Carry weight
For mobile reiki, compare the table-only weight and the carry case. Lightweight tables make home visits easier.
Massage use
If you also offer massage, compare frame stability and the manufacturer’s working load as well.
Your reiki set-up
Everything that makes long, quiet sessions comfortable for you and your client:
- A reiki table with end panels
- A height-adjustable therapist stool
- A face cradle cushion or face pillow
- A bolster under the knees
- Flannel sheets or a heating blanket for warmth
- A carry case if you work mobile

What is a reiki table?
A massage table with reiki end panels: the ends are built so that you can sit close to your client with your legs under the table. Most reiki tables also work as regular massage tables.
What are reiki end panels?
Solid panels at the head and foot end that replace corner legs and cross-braces. They leave room for your legs when you sit at the end of the table. Some tables add reiki panels along the sides as well.
What height should a reiki table be?
For seated reiki, the table should sit comfortably above your knees when you are on your stool, so check the lowest height setting. If you also stand for massage, the tabletop should be about level with your knuckles. The exact height range is shown on each product page.
Can I use a reiki table for massage?
Yes. A reiki table is a full massage table with additional leg room at the ends. For deeper massage, compare frame stability and the manufacturer’s working load.
What width is best for a reiki table?
71 cm (28") suits most practitioners, while 76 cm (30") gives clients more room for longer sessions. Our massage table size table compares widths, lengths and height ranges.
Do I need a special stool for reiki?
A height-adjustable therapist stool helps you sit at the right height at the head or foot of the table. Castors make it easy to move around your client.
Is a lightweight table a good choice for reiki?
Yes, if you work mobile. Compare lightweight massage tables by carry weight, check that the ends give you leg room and that the table feels stable.
Which reiki tables do you have?
Examples are the Earthlite Spirit in 71, 76 and 81 cm widths and the Master Massage EVA pregnancy table, both with reiki end panels. All reiki tables in our range are shown above.
Are prices shown with VAT and is delivery free?
Yes. All prices include VAT, and standard delivery to Mainland UK is free – including the Scottish Highlands and islands connected by a road bridge, such as Anglesey and the Isle of Skye. Product-specific details are shown on each product page and in our delivery information.
