The Master Massage AirWave Bristol is a specialist portable massage table with an integrated AirWave® massage function. Unlike a conventional folding massage table, it combines a professional treatment surface with a built-in air-cell system that can provide an additional comfort and relaxation experience for the client.
The AirWave system offers 4 massage modes, 5 intensity levels and 6 target-point air-cell zones. Combined with substantial 76 mm multi-layer cushioning and a 295 kg dynamic working load, the Bristol is designed for users who prioritise comfort, functionality and stability over minimum carrying weight.
What Makes the AirWave Bristol Different?
Most portable massage tables provide a stable, cushioned surface for the therapist's manual treatment. The Bristol adds a second element: its integrated AirWave air-cell technology. The internal system creates gentle pressure and movement sensations through the table surface. Depending on the treatment setting and client preference, the AirWave function can be used as an additional comfort feature before, during or after selected treatments.
How Does the AirWave® System Work?
The Bristol incorporates an internal 6 target-point air-cell system. Its different settings allow the AirWave experience to be adapted to the treatment context and individual client preference.

76 mm Cushioning & Professional Table Construction
AirWave technology is only one part of the Bristol specification. The table uses approximately 76 mm multi-layer padding to provide a substantial cushioned treatment surface. European beech legs with a protected Dura-Seal™ surface are combined with professional construction features including Duo-Plane™ hinges, Clevis Block™ leg fixings, nylon leg bumpers and non-slip, non-scratching feet. The specified 295 kg dynamic working load and 680 kg static support load provide substantial load capacity for professional treatment use.
Portable – but Not a Lightweight Travel Table
The Bristol folds for transport and includes a carrying bag, but its AirWave system and substantial construction result in a table weight of approximately 24 kg. It is therefore best described as transportable rather than ultralight. It can be moved between locations, but therapists who regularly carry their table upstairs, walk longer distances or make several mobile visits each day should consider whether a lighter conventional portable table would be more practical.
