With a heating pad width of 70 cm, there is usually sufficient coverage to warm the main lying area of the body. The heating performance of warming blankets is generally designed to provide comfortable warmth close to body temperature. For safety and comfort reasons, electric blankets are not intended to generate excessive heat, as temperatures significantly above body temperature may feel unpleasant during longer treatments. For a faster warm-up, switch on the blanket around 10 minutes before use. Please note that thicker fitted sheets or flannel covers can reduce the initial sensation of warmth, which is perfectly normal. One exception is the Earthlite DLX Digital electric blanket, which offers a higher heating capacity due to its thick fleece construction.
